Zach`s Place in Berea

I always enjoy a good steak & hand cut french fries. I have not had a bad dinner here ever. They have good specials & some so good you may have to choose a different one cause they run out. Cool drinks that vary. Like now it's Summer fare. I always enjoy coming here. The waitresses are very nice & friendly. Reasonably priced & all is fresh made no instant potatoes, hand carved steaks & spring mix salads. Come & enjoy. Louder atmosphere on Fridays & Saturdays, nice clean bar & Sundays have special specials! 😋😊 Yum❣

Have went 4 different times hoping for a better experience and always been disappointed. Drinks are not made properly, extremely slow service even when they have multiple bartenders and hardly any guests. Ordered drinks from one bartender and after 10 minutes we don't get them and another bartender asks if we've been helped. Food is good and quick but only if you use the takeout service on the other side of the restaurant.

The atmosphere is nice but the food is superb. Friday clam chowder is the Best in Cleveland!

The staff was great. Friendly, courteous and responsive. The food not so much. Chicken Marsala was bland as was the Ruben sandwich. The Pasta was delicious and so were the meatballs. As I was walking out, I saw other patrons eating steak. It looked and smelled amazing. Next time I know what to order.

Waitress was great! Food was decent. The place was packed so I think they're can afford to fix or replace the chairs.

Sat down at the end of the bar waited 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Each server looked at us and no one came over. People left because they weren't being served.

The take out is really good. Bar is terrible waited 15 minutes for a drink one time with two other people there. I just made the mistake of calling the bar for a take out order. I asked for the take out desk and they refused and said I had to go to the bar. 45 minutes later my food was ready. Came home it was like it came out of the refrigerator. Will just grab a gas station burrito next time. Avoid the bar, take the food out, if you get the right take out side phone number food/service is great.

Had a great delmonico steak and baked potato. Sara was a very good server.

Excellent steaks, carved in house. Scampies are amazing too. Full bar up front, more of a restaurant in back. Best of both worlds. Good for quick lunches or sandwiches too.

Good food nice service staff.

This was my first time here. The staff was very friendly and quick with our orders and all was correct. The location was fairly clean inside but the bathrooms were less than favorable. The menu selections were pretty good but they seemed to be out of several food items as well as beer choices. The things we ordered were pretty good and the price was fair. I would say it's a reasonable place to go but it is not fine dining by any means. I would go back and think it's a pretty decent place.

Ordered 3rubens, no pickles were with the sandwiches and no 1000 island dressing.Looked like it was thrown together last night and put in fridge. Very disappointed!! 3 sandwiches for $30?

A decent place to come in eat as well as a good neighborhood bar feel the food is really good just cuz it's in a strip mall plaza give it a shot

Good food and good service. They are famous for stakes but we had fish and that was also good.

Highly do recommend this place it is a sports bar but the food is awesome the staff is great it’s a pretty good establishments it to cook till very late at night which is good for me because I do work late shifts from being a doctor. And the food is always fresh and you don’t taste low addict and chemicals I highly do recommend this place to all people that are health genetics is the way I am I’m not a fanatic but I do watch my Health from being a doctor

I only get their wings which are pretty good. Good enough for me to not drive 20 extra minutes to my usual spot. But they cant seem to get my takeout orders right. Ive ordered takeout a few times lately, always wings and they have messed up the sauces 3/5 times. Not that they are wrong sauces, i ordered 2 dozen buffalo and 1 dozen bbq and i got 2 dozen bbq and one dozen buffalo. Simple stuff like that.

Great food, great atmosphere. Price range is very affordable. Death by chocolate cake is truly to die for.

Staff was drunk they ran out of steak how does a steak house run out of steak food was horrid and so was staff

Please go and get some dinner their food is awesome and we need to support this business through these times so they will be there in the future

We stopped in for the first time the other day. We were unimpressed. You walk in and the place looks very promising. It turned out to be more of a disappointment. There were no quality beers on tap so I ordered a bourbon and Coke. I even made it a double and still couldn't taste the bourbon in the drink. Our appetizer and both of our entrees tasted like something you get off of the Sysco truck. Our server was a blond lady that was also working the bar. Three different times we both asked her for water and finally she brought one glass of water. So rather than ask again we just shared that same glass of water. We asked her questions about the menu and she didn't seem to know or care. Maybe we came on and off night. I'm not sure if we will try again.

Points for very good food, points for good service, points for aunique place. Lose all your points for racist pictures on the wall.

Zachs is most definitely overlooked when you want a great dinner. His steaks are exceptional and wait staff is great. Wonderful Mother's Day dinner

Huge slab of prime rib! The food and drinks were super tasty, great deals as well.

I had the pleasure of being served by annie. She is friendly and personable. Even my kids loved her! The food was terrific, steak was cooked perfectly!

The manger is rude was in my 2 year olds face and messed up all my food.very cold wouldn’t suggest coming here.

The wine was good and so was my onion rings. The 4.95 I did think that they, the onion rings were exspensive. Nice place the bar attendants were nice and polite. Also they always make good drinks. And the bathroom was clean.

This is an okay place to go for a beer and a steak. The fish sandwich is pretty good too. This isn't the typical steakhouse that I would think of when I hear the word steakhouse. It's more of a bar with inside seating....very, very casual. Like tank tops and shorts steakhouse. Anyhow, the food is good and the service is fast and friendly.

We traved a 1/2hr to get here and it was worth the drive. On Sunday they have a 24oz T bone dinner for a special price and it was enough for 2 meals and my wife was happy about her meal also. We will go back.

The food taste good and the prices are reasonable. I like the chicken tenders, chef salad and of course the steak. The bar and inside of business is dark and not updated, but it works out perfectly. This is it’s personality and what makes it different

Liar's! I just visited on a Sunday evening and asked for a beer and a menu. When I ordered the porterhouse special as advertised, I was told they don't have it or the T-bone special. I paid my beer bill without a tip and left immediately. Do not patronage! Let's all band together and drive these thieving restaurant poachers out of business! If I could give a stronger negative review, it would -5!

This place is amazing. My girlfriend and I were in the neighborhood buying some speakers saw Zach's decided to go in and check it out. We were both amazed with the fast friendly service. The food was 10 times better then I was expecting. I would recommend Zachs to everyone. We live 30 minutes away and would have no problem driving to eat there again and again. I would give them 10 stars if it was a rating.

Manager was drunk food and service were both awful

Food was cold and orders got mixed up, steak wasn't cooked how we wanted, not even close, when asked to just take the stakes off they refused and owner was very intoxicated seeming and beligerent, refused to work with us on price or new steaks. Will never receive our business again, strongly do not recommend.

Had great service from GINA Castillo. The food amazing. I would deffently go back to see Gina, she made me experience just amazing.

The food was great, came fast. We were kind of early for a Saturday night. Portions were bigger than expected and our waitress was around enough to be able to take care of anything that was needed but not annoying. She was better than great. We will go back!

One of the best fish fries in the area. The ladies behind the bar are always friendly. Prices are very reasonable. What more could you want?
